1990 Passed out with distinction
Huddersfield Guardsman James Cooper, who has passed out as one of the best recruits of his intake after his basic Army training at the Guards depot at Purbright, Surrey.

Guardsman Cooper, an ex-pupil at Fartown High School and former nightclub Doorman at Johnny’s Nightclub, joined the Army last August.

After passing-out he spent a week at the Army Careers Information Office before rejoining his unit.The Coldstream Guards.
